Trivia Contest: We Have A New Winner!

Congratulations are in order for Earl Ashurst, our latest winner in the Totally Sporadic Benac Family Reunion Trivia Contest! Earl will be receiving a lovely decoupage ornament depicting the DC monuments with a "Starry Night" sky behind them. (It's actually cooler than it sounds, based on that description!)

And, for everyone who's curious, here are the answers to this round's questions:
1. What do you call the shape of the Washington Monument? An obelisk.

2. What is Barack Obama’s middle name? Hussein.

3. How many soldiers’ remains are buried in the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington Cemetery? Three -- one each for WWI, WWII and Korea. The remains of the Vietnam unknown have been exhumed and identified.

4. What somewhat unusual condiment did President Obama put on his burger when he recently ate at Five Guys burgers and fries in DC? Jalapeno peppers.

5. Where can you find the orginal sandstone Corinthian columns from the U.S. Capitol? At the National Arboretum.

Thanks for playing. Check back soon for our next round!
