I'm scouting for talents new and old, unusual and usual. Can you...
- ...Sing the National Anthem backwards?
- Change a diaper with one hand behind your back?
- Unicycle blindfolded?
- Perform a dramatic recitation of an entire Dr. Seuss book?
- Do a twisted pretzel yoga pose?
I'll also be hand-picking 4 talent judges to give fun and totally arbitrary comments about each act. (I take bribes...)
So dust off that accordion, polish up those vocal chords, or juice up your jews harp, because its time for

Sooooo, email me your act and I'll put you in the lineup. This is our family event at the poolside on Saturday night. If I don't have people respond with their talents, you will be tortured by me doing karaoke all night, so you better come out for this! And please come even if you dont want to perform--we need a rowdy crowd, right? And can I make a special request? Is there anyone out there with a recording or a written copy of any of Grampa's stories, like the Gloop-maker, that could do a recitation for us?

I don't know if this qualifies as a "talent" per se, but I think we also should have a belly flop contest. We did one at our July 5 pool-wide party and it was a hoot, from the 4-year-olds up to the grown men with beer bellies.
